• We are a chapter of The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc.

• We send out information to people like yourself on a daily basis. Our standard information packets include specially requested Lupus information, literature, support groups lists, a physician referral list, dates for education symposiums and other chapter activities.

• We also strive to stay up to date with the Lupus Foundation of America and the National Institute of Health in order to provide the most up to date information for you.
  

• We send representatives to speak with guests at health fairs and community gatherings to inform the public about lupus.
  Support groups of Lupus patients, their friends and family members meet monthly to discuss challenges, feelings and issues regarding Lupus. We plan Support Group Facilitator training as we receive requests.
  

• When you join the Lupus Foundation of America, you help support programs of education, awareness, support, advocacy, and research.
  

• Every member of the Lupus Foundation of America receives a complimentary subscription to Lupus Now, an exciting award winning publication from the Lupus Foundation of America, which premiered in the Fall of 2003. This publication, sponsored by an unlimited grant from Watson Pharma, Inc., a subsidiary of Watson Pharmaceutical, Inc. and Genelabs Technologies, Inc. is filled with the latest information on lupus research and treatment.
  

• We publish a quarterly newsletter for chapter members, health care providers and Lupus patients and families regarding chapter activities and health issues.
